FAQs

RSVPs

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

We ask that you RSVP on this website so we have a more accurate count of who will be attending. The link to RSVP will be on this website. However, for our more old-school brethren out there, the invites also have RSVP cards with return envelopes to send back to us. On the RSVP cards, we've also provided our cell numbers in case you just want to tell us that you're attending.

Am I allowed to bring a "plus-one"?

We have taken care to reserve each and every seat for the reception. You will be informed in your invite exactly how many chairs have been reserved for you and your party. Please do not invite anyone that wasn't approved in the invitation or by the bride or groom.

Do I need to order my meal when I RSVP?

The reception dinner will be buffet style! Feel free to eat to your heart/stomach’s content! There are also available options for those with dietary restrictions or allergies.

Will there be kids allowed at the wedding?

Unfortunately, we request that all kids under 16 please stay home for the celebration, save for the ones personally invited by the bride and groom. As much as we would love to have them join us in the festivities, we also want this day to be an opportunity for the adults (especially the parents) to enjoy themselves and let loose as they celebrate freely with us.

Ceremony & Reception Venues

What is the itinerary for the wedding day?

2:30 - 4:00pm --> Wedding ceremony at the Shrine of St. Joseph in Stirling, NJ 6:30 - 11:30pm --> Reception at the Grand Marquis in Old Bridge, NJ

What are the addresses for the ceremony venue and the reception venue?

The church for the ceremony is the Shrine of St. Joseph @ 1050 Long Hill Road, Stirling, NJ 07980 The reception venue is the Grans Marquis @ 1550 US-9, Old Bridge, NJ 08857

Will the reception immediately follow the ceremony?

No, there is an anticipated 2.5 hour time gap between the end of the ceremony at the church at 4pm and the start of cocktail hour at the Grand Marquis at 6:30pm. We want to take this time to snap our pictures with the wedding party, sponsors, and families while also accommodating for travel time between locations. Feel free to arrive to the reception at your leisure!

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Formal, please! This is a very fancy event after all. But we do ask that our guests refrain from wearing blue or gold in order for the wedding party to stand out.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. However, the reception venue will have outdoor areas available, depending on the weather.

Will there be an open bar at the reception?

Absolutely!

Travel Accommodations

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

We know that many of you will be traveling from out of state or even out of the country to attend our special day, and we are so grateful for your efforts. While we do not have specific room blocks for hotels, we do have a website providing discounted rates of all the hotels near the reception venue for you all to order at your own convenience. The link is here: https://hotelblocks.theknot.com/EventPage7972078

What's the best way to travel between the ceremony and reception venues, as well as from any of the nearby hotels?

The best way would be to drive, as there is a 40-50min distance between the church and the reception venue. As for shuttle services with nearby hotels by the reception venue, that is entirely dependent on the hotel you book. Both venues have adequate parking spaces, and the reception venue offers valet parking.

Wedding Registry & Gifts

Where are you registered?

In lieu of actual presents, we instead request money gifts to fund our honeymoon trip. You’re welcome to either donate to our cash fund on this website or in person at the reception.

Where should we send our gifts?

Your presence at our wedding is already the best gift! However, if you still would like to honor us with a gift, there will be a wedding card box at the reception. All other gifts can be directed to the families of the bride or groom, who will handle them for us.
