Not exactly....

We have our very dear friend Vanessa Rodriguez to thank for our story. Gene and Vanessa met at a networking event and kept in touch over the years. On a quick catch up between the two, Gene inquired to see if Vanessa had any single friends. Her response: "I have one BUT she's real feisty and has nice legs." The rest is history...sort of. Our first point of contact was an actual phone call. For millennials, that was both shocking and impressive. He asked me to text a photo and my quick selfie head shot in my office got me the diamond ring emoji in response. Our love for food, travel, sporting events keeps our story far from dull. Thank you for sharing our special day with us and continuing to be a part of our story.
