Sam and Kimberly met in June of 2020 in Key West, Florida. Kim was working as a travel MLS in Miami, when her high school bff Ashley came to visit. While deciding what to do for the weekend, the two planned a spur of the moment trip down to Key West. After a few hours of scrolling hotels.com, they finally settled on a cute little spot on Duval. All the way in Colorado, Sam and his family/ friends had a trip planned to Key West. Due to current Covid restrictions, many members of the group decided to cancel their trips. Sam, his sisters, and a few other family friends still decided to take the trip. They spent the night before scrambling to find a place to stay, and as chance would have it, they chose the same hotel as Kim and Ashley. Later after everyone arrived, both groups found themselves by the resort pool. Conversations were started and Sam and Kim had an immediate connection. What started as a conversation complaining about working night shifts in healthcare, led to so much more. After the trip was over, the two exchanged contact information and stayed in constant communication for the next few months until Kim accepted a travel MLS job in Pueblo, Colorado. With both of them finally in the same place, their relationship was allowed to grow into what it is now. Sam popped the question on September 16, 2023 at the beautiful and famous Red Rocks Amphitheater. Both are so excited to be married!
