Q + A

Is it safe to travel to Mexico City.

We understand your worries about safety and security however Mexico City is tourist friendly and the wedding will be held in the historic center of Mexico where police officers stand guard 24/7 as the presidential house is only a few blocks away.

What airport should I fly into?

Mexico City offers two international airports but the best one to fly into is Mexico City International Airport Benito Juarez (MEX). You can fly in from LAX or Tijuana International Airport.

Does Mexico City offer uber?

Yes! Mexico city offers Uber and you are charged in pesos Please make sure you download the app for any travel needs and always verify proper tags and names when riding.

How do I get from the airport to the hotel?

The hotel is 6 miles from the airport but Mexico City is one of the most populated cities in the world and traffic can often make distances feel a little longer. Our best recommendation for transportation would be getting a taxi inside the airport or booking transportation with the hotel for an additional fee. (Please contact the hotel for arrangments).

Do I need to carry pesos?

Yes! It is highly recommended to carry pesos as it is the national currency but a lot of places do offer Debit/Credit transactions. You may exchange currency at the airport and or use your debit card to withdraw from an ATM at banks like BANCOMER and BBVA. Please note exchange fees and rates apply.

Why Mexico City?

Kimmie was born in Mexico City and it is where both families spent their first Christmas together. Kimmie loved showing Steven the history, the food, and the culture from which she comes from and as such it holds a special place in our hearts and showing you all a part of our culture is something we are excited to do.
