Our Wedding

Peyton and I met in 2018 when we went to Samford University in Birmingham, AL. We used to tell people we met in class but... the truth is we met on Tinder (as most people do nowadays). Let me clarify that online dating was not as widely accepted a few years ago as it was today especially at a small school!! Both of us went into the online dating world thinking that we would never meet somebody we actually like on there, but clearly we were wrong ;) We met over a coffee date and we sat there and talked for nearly four hours. I have always been very skeptical when it comes to things like love at first sight, soulmates, etc., however, the minute I met Peyton I knew he was going to play an important role in my life forever. It's all very cheesy I know!!Ever since then, Peyton has been my best friend. We pretty much spent every second together that year (this is me apologizing to our friends... I know I know I know we were annoying back then. please forgive us).Our lives have taken us individually all over the world for the past couple of years (Alabama, Tennessee, California, Delaware, Washington D.C., and even China!!) and we had to do long distance for a little while. It was difficult, but we made it through and are actually much stronger because of it!This summer and fall, I lived in Delaware while Peyton lived in Washington D.C. and we got to see each other often. We spent a lot of time together and we became even closer than before. We cherished every moment we had together after being long distance!Peyton proposed to me on Halloween in Shenandoah. We had taken a trip there earlier that summer and it had become a special place to us. It was the happiest day of our lives! He picked the perfect day to propose and the perfect setting. Halloween has always been my favorite holiday, but now it is even more so. Spooky!!!Overall, our relationship is filled with lots of love and laughter and we're so excited to spend forever together! We are anxious to start our new life together in Washington D.C. next spring with our dogs Hermione and Georgia. We are also so excited for our wedding, and we can't wait to share more of our story with you on April 23rd. All of our loved ones have played an important role in our story as well, and for that we're so grateful. We love you!!-Kimmy

Olivia is my step-sister and from the moment she came into my life I have looked up to her so much!  It was such an honor being a maid of honor at her wedding, and I could not imagine anyone else being mine. She is an accountant in Nashville and is married to the love of her life Nick and has a dog named Mabel. She is driven, hard-working, loyal, and so loving! We love to cook together, have wine nights, and watch Twilight and Harry Potter together. She is the most amazing sister but also the most amazing friend!!! She is one of my absolute best friends and I am so lucky to have her!

Olivia Bruey

Caroline is my second cousin and has become one of my best friends over the past year!! We were roommates over the last summer and fall and I can confidently say she's the best roommate I've ever had. We are scarily similar and I think we might actually be the same person?!!! She's been with me through it all over the past year and has pretty much been my right hand man through the wedding planning. Caroline lives in Delaware and is a nursing student. She is kind, funny, and so much fun. Let's hear it for Caroline!!!!

Caroline Miller

Emily is my first cousin and I love her so much! We pretty much grew up together and it's been so amazing watching her grow into the amazing woman she is! She and I have seen a lot of each other lately and become close and I couldn't imagine my wedding day without her. My favorite things about Emily are that she is always down to have fun and makes everybody feel welcomed and comfortable!! She is finishing her Master's in social work and it is definitely her calling! Love you Emily <3

Emily Saint

Lydia and I met in 2017 and our first conversation was about Lana Del Rey and ever since she has been one of my best friends. We bond over our shared love of Harry Potter and music. We have the same sense of humor and we are totally ourselves with each other. She is hilarious, quick-witted, and thoughtful and I can't imagine my life without her!!! Much love for Lyd!

Rebecca has been one of my besties since we were 3. It's been such a special thing growing up with her and fostering a 20 year long friendship. She is both the funniest and strongest person I know! To this day we still play Animal Crossing together like we did when we were 10. I seriously do not know where I would be without her. Too grateful for Becky T!!!!

Disclaimer: Ellijay is a small town and because of that, there are not a ton of hotels to stay at, however, we highly recommend looking into Airbnbs in the area as well as Vrbo. There are gorgeous cabins and chalets in the area! Turn the trip into a fun little vacation!

We do not have a block of rooms, however, if you would prefer to stay in a hotel we highly recommend this one. It is nice and very close to the vineyard.
