Our Wedding

Who would have thought that a simple swipe to the right would lead us here! We first met over drinks and food at a local restaurant and had an instant connection.  It was as if we had known each other forever.  Over the past (almost) 3 years we have shared so many wonderful moments, as well as some trying times.  Through it all, we have built a strong foundation with which we can build our amazing future together.  We are so blessed to be surrounded by family and friends with whom we have made so many awesome memories with. And we cannot wait to celebrate with you all!!

Keys Shuttle

Scott and I welcome you to stay at the beautiful and intimate Amara Cay Resort, where we will be staying and hosting our wedding! Enjoy all the property amenities, such as water activities, corn hole, ping pong, fire pits, tiki bar, restaurants and more.  When you stay here you can also enjoy and of their sister properties (La Siesta and Three Waters) and a free shuttle service is provided to take you to and from.  They also offer free shuttle service anywhere in a 4 mile radius of the hotel.

Amara Cay Resort-Islamorada Collection

Part of the Islamorada collection, this is a sister property of Amara Cay (where Scott and I will be staying and hosting our event).  When you stay at one of the Islamorada collection resorts, you may use any sister property and they offer a free shuttle for all guests to/from any sister property. They also have free shuttle service for guests within a 4 mile radius of the property. 

La Siesta Resort and Villas-Islamorada Collection 

Part of the Islamorada collection, this is a sister property of Amara Cay (where Scott and I will be staying and hosting our event).  When you stay at one of the Islamorada collection resorts, you may use any sister property and they offer a free shuttle for all guests to/from any sister property. They also have free shuttle service for guests within a 4 mile radius of the property.

Theee Waters Resort and Marina-Islamorada Collection 

This resort is right next to Amara Cay, so you will be very close for the wedding! And it’s a bit more affordable in comparison to Amara and other resorts.  So this is a good option for guests!

Travel

If you’re up for a day trip, head down the Key West and take the Freedom Ferry over to the Dry Tortugas! Your ticket includes a light breakfast and a Jersey Mikes lunch! (Additional food/beverages can also be purchased on the ferry). Spend the day touring the fort, swimming, snorkeling and taking in the beautiful island! It’s such a gorgeous place! This books up way in advance, so it’s recommended to purchase your ticket at least 6-8 months in advance to guarantee

Dry Tortugas National Park

Key Largo’s John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park is one of a kind, offering an amazing glimpse into the underwater world. Renowned for being the country’s first undersea park, John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park encompasses an impressive 70 nautical square miles. While many visitors view the park’s colorful coral reefs and teeming marine life on a glass-bottom boat tour, one can get an even closer look by scuba diving or snorkeling. See website for details!

John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park

Along with its iconic Florida Keys scenery, sandy beaches, gin-clear waters and magnificent sunsets, the park is known for balmy sea breezes that caress the shores year-round. The park is an excellent place to observe wading birds and shorebirds, and introduces nature lovers to the island’s plants and animals. Kayaks and snorkeling gear can be rented, and boat trips to the reef for snorkeling excursions are available.

History of Diving Museum 

This historic lighthouse off the east coast of Florida Keys was named after a pirate ship that sank in that location over a century ago. So dont worry, there arent actually any alligators found here! Today, the now decommissioned lighthouse marks the wreck of the ship and teems with marine life and corals in its crystal clear waters, making it a popular spot for snorkeling. You can get up close to the lighthouse on a boat or jet ski tour, which sometimes also include stops at the nearby sand bars and other spots around Islamorada. – Tripadvisor
