Our perfect match love story began on a cold December night. As Kim opened the door she found Sam standing there, nervous, with 12 perfect roses in her hand. But it was not all smooth sailing from there... Sam was very flirty over text messages and phone conversations however, in person, Sam was a ball of nerves and barley even looked at Kim the whole night. On top of that Sam was PETRIFIED of cats and had her feet up on the couch, while Kim's cats played on the ground below. To make matters worse, as they were watching Elf, Kim had lost power so the only background noise was the winter wind outside.

Despite the awkwardness, there was never a quiet moment during the entire night. We laughed harder than we ever have before, the conversation never ended and we connected on so many levels. It truly felt like we had known each other for years. Even with all of the obstacles, we couldn’t have asked for a better, more perfect first date!

The rest was history! We met each other's families and were welcomed with open arms like we had been together for years. Everything just fell into place perfectly, we hit the ground running and never looked back!

Sam and Kim discussed with their families prior to their relationship about how they never wanted to get married. They could never picture spending the rest of their lives with someone. Till one day Sam planned an unforgettable date night that changed their lives forever.

Sam was the romantic one and would always plan thoughtful dates for Kim. As Kim was getting ready for a date night, Sam asked Kim to pick out shoes for her. As Kim opened the closet door, she found a note on a pair of shoes that said meet me upstairs. Thinking nothing of it, because these romantic dates were nothing out of the ordinary, Kim walked upstairs with confidence that it was just an average night for the two of them. Turning the corner, Kim found Sam standing there in a heart of rose peddles with roses in her hand and a ring in her pocket. Absolutely stunned, Kim had no other words besides "Are you joking?!" Sam got down on one knee and the happily ever after began for us!
