Our Story
Sean and Kimmie started dating on December 16, 2012 when Sean was 17 and Kimmie was 16. They were introduced by Ashley Titone, the maid of honor, who was in choir with the groom, and best friends with the bride. Their relationship continued to grow until Sean left for college to attend West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas.
During Kimmie's senior year of high school and Sean's freshman year of college, they spent the time 10 hours long distance. They learned how to better communicate and appreciate the time they had together. When Kimmie graduated in 2014, she left to go to school at West Texas A&M as well to study nursing. During these 4 years together at school, the Lord worked in both Sean and Kimmie's lives in huge ways through The Wesley Foundation and prepared them for their lives together.
On November 11, 2017, both Kimmie and Sean's families were in Canyon, TX. That morning, the families went hiking together in Palo Duro Canyon on Kimmie's favorite trail - the sunflower trail. At the end, there is a hill that over looks the surrounding Canyon. Sean got down on one knee and asked Kimmie to marry him.
After the wedding, the bride and groom plan to move back to Houston, TX to begin working in their career paths: Kimmie as a nurse and Sean in ministry. Sean and Kimmie will both be graduating with their Bachelor’s degrees from West Texas A&M the day before the wedding, Saturday May 12, at 6:00 pm at the First United Bank Center at WTAMU.
