Hi I’m Nicolas, I’m Juan’s younger brother and the good looking one of the family. My fondest memories of Juan Pablo growing up together, was helping him study for his exams and fixing him some sandwiches along the way. I will always be there for him as I know he will always be there for me. I met Kim at her school’s field trip to Six flags and my first impression of her was “oh man, she’s mean” but after multiple food outings and trips to Colombia I can now say that she is the kindest, funniest and most amazing woman that my brother could find. I'm Jackie, Kim's supposedly younger sister, but quiz her orchestra students, and they'd bet their violins I'm older. Diving into the world of orchestra events as a volunteer, I've been both dazzled by Kim's knack for herding musical cats and baffled by the teachers’ lack of gadgets that even my law enforcement career wouldn't dream of skimping on – which I mean reflective vests for directing traffic… Now landing a role as one of Kim's bridesmaids? I’m absolutely honored to join her in this journey just as she’s been beside me throughout our lives. I'm confident that she and Juan Pablo will be an exquisite duo, and as we come together to celebrate their union, it symbolizes not just their love, but the beautiful merging of our families. Hey everyone, I’m Jamie! I’m beyond excited to be a bridesmaid for Kim, my sister and fellow cat enthusiast. I am beyond spoiled to have Kim as a sister. She gets me out of the house for exciting journeys to the trails of Kennesaw Mountain and other beautiful spots in the county like Trader Joe's. Kim and I are cousins and grew up together in Powder Springs, GA. From camping trips across the southwest to weeks spent at the beach jamming out to Third Eye Blind on our MP3 players, we shared our childhood and adolescence together. That’s not to say it wasn’t without a bit of fighting. I was known to be a tad handsy, but I like to think of it as training in assertiveness for Kim. The biggest fight was always over who Kim liked the best: Emily or Liz? I think we know who won that one! As children, Kim and I made a pact to be each other’s bridesmaids. It is an honor to be included in the celebration of Kim and Juan Pablo. I met Kim on our bus route in middle school, but we didn’t start hanging out until the 8th grade. I don’t know what our 6th and 7th-grade selves were thinking! That’s two years of awesomeness that we missed out on! Since then, we have been constant friends. There are so many memories that I have, from us dancing at our eighth-grade dance to dancing at our 20th high school reunion. From college parties and hangs, to us studying together remotely on video calls, to celebrating birthdays, trips to see each other and vacations, and everything in between. Kim really is a one-in-a-million gem and I’m so excited that she found her match in Juan Pablo. The first time I met Juan Pablo was when I picked him and Kim up from the airport. Even at 5 in the morning, he had a quick wit and an outgoing, friendly personality! Seeing the two of them together feels like they have been together this whole time and it’s beautiful to witness. They say when you meet the one, you know. Kim and Juan Pablo are proof that this saying is true. I’m so excited to be part of their big day! In 2000, alongside my brother and sister, I embarked on a new chapter in the United States. Transitioning to life in a new country came with its challenges, from navigating language barriers to adapting to a different culture. Making friends wasn't easy until my junior high school years when fate introduced me to Kim who would become my second family. My friendship with Kim blossomed during our time at McEachern High School. While we didn't instantly become best friends, our bond deepened over time, fueled by shared laughter and unforgettable memories. Kim's infectious humor never fails to brighten my day, and I'm grateful to be welcomed into the Piper family, who have enriched my life in countless ways, however revealing my unexpected allergy to cats! Kim and I share a passion for two things: food and music. Our love for music binds us together, whether we're jamming out to our favorite tunes or swapping recipes in the kitchen. Juan Pablo, our newest addition, has brought even more joy and laughter into our lives.
