We meet at the rec center in college, both staring through the window at the lap pool. Apparently there was an SMU swim team meet that day, so our swimming plans were foiled. Lucas thought Kimberly swam for SMU (nope) because she was wearing this spiffy red jacket. She was still cool tho. They became friends.

Lucas asks Kimberly out. Kimberly says "I'm moving to Georgia for work...in 2 weeks." The adventure begins.

After years of creative road trips between GA/TX, GA/FL, and TX/FL, we decide long distance is overrated. To Colorado! Now we can road trip in the same car!
