We are so grateful for each of you. Thank you for the love, support, and friendship. Each of you have served an important role and purpose in our life. We feel so incredibly honored to celebrate our love for each other in front of the Lord and each of you.   Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. - 1 Corinthians 13:4-7   So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.” - Matthew 19:6   And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.- Colossians 3:14

Love Letter

Kimberly's Point of View A tale as old as time, Joe and I met on Hinge! After swearing off dating for a while, I had made the conscious decision that I was ready to find something real. So, I got back on the dating apps and lo and behold, there was Joe. I remember thinking he was handsome (obviously), and I loved that he seemed to have a good sense of humor and was a lover of all good movies, even though he had never seen Harry Potter. But what I remember most was reading his Instagram caption for the eight-year anniversary of his brain surgery to remove a tumor that was causing epilepsy. He had such a positive outlook on life and had such a peace about anything that would come his way, and I knew that he was the type of person I wanted to surround myself with. I sent him a like instantly and anxiously watched my phone to see if it was a match. Finally, he liked me back! I waited an hour for him to reach out after matching with me, but now I know one of the many reasons God sent me Joe was to teach me patience. But on that day, an hour wait was all the patience I had, and I decided that I had nothing to lose by reaching out to him first, so I went for it. Spoiler alert, Joe responded, and the rest is truly history. Four days later, we went on our first date, and we truly haven't looked back since. It didn't take long for us to realize that this was a forever kind of thing, and that God had chosen Joe and I for each other. Since our first date on October 11th, 2022, my life has been filled with so much joy, so much laughter, and so much love. Joe and I couldn't wait any longer to get married, so we made things official at the Durham County Courthouse on October 11th, 2024! We can't wait to finally celebrate our union with all of our favorite people!
