Kimi's dance career took her from Canada's National Ballet School in Toronto to the Fort Worth-based Bruce Wood Dance Company to Complexions Contemporary Ballet in New York and back to the Bruce Wood Dance Project in Dallas. Along the way she also completed a major in neuroscience at Columbia University. For this Nick is very thankful because, after four years in the Marines as an infantry officer, it was in his first pre-med class at Columbia that Kimi and he met, in January 2011. Four years of friendship later, the couple has one recurring argument: Nick believes their relationship makes him "the luckiest," while Kimi thinks the title should be hers. Kimi is now the Acting Artistic Director of the Bruce Wood Dance Project and Nick is studying at Columbia's College of Physicians and Surgeons. They have never been happier.
