This is a cute town to visit on the way to Banff. It takes 45 mins to get there from Cochrane!

Explore the historic town of Banff.

Here you can visit the hot springs, ride the gondola up Sulphur Mountain (where Danny proposed to Kimmy), and hikes on countless mountains. Banff is just over an hour drive from Cochrane!

Johnston Canyon is an hour and a half drive from Cochrane and our top place to recommend for an easy hike (1-2h) to see the canyons and waterfalls!

Moraine Lake is a MUST SEE but requires you to arrange a bus ride as cars no longer have access to this lake
