Chautauqua: The classic Boulder hiking destination. The 3rd Flatiron and Royal Arch are Kimmy's favorites. Be warned that this is a VERY busy spot so parking can be tough, but it is exceptionally beautiful!
Mt. Sanitas: Get that booty into shape for your wedding day attire. This one will rock you.
Fourth of July Trail: A bit farther afield and definitely a full day, this is one of the best hikes in the greater Boulder/Nederland area. It's high, so bring layers and lots of water! Also plan to start very early, as the parking lot gets full by 8:30am.
Niwot: Stop into Fly Away Home and find home decor that will blow your socks off! Then take a walk around town for some other wonderful small bookstores, spas, and boutiques.
Pearl Street Mall: You can get lost in the Boulder Bookstore, buy kitchen items you'll never use from Peppercorn, and see a man fit himself into a box. What could be bad?
29th Street Mall: An outdoor mall with delights like Lululemon, Anthropologie, Apple, and a movie theater.
Avery Brewing Company: Home of the White Rascal and Ellie's Brown, plus some excellent soft pretzels. Somehow, for no particular reason, this is the best brewery ever. Treat yourself to a pre-welcome party beer and then come on over!
Sushi Zanmai: If you're brave, you can get a sake bomb and channel the first big dinner that John ever had with Kimmy's family. They also have excellent sushi.
Snarf's: Great sandwiches to grab and take on a hike. Be warned: they're bigger and more delicious than you think.
Lucile's: A little Creole cafe with great New Orleans style breakfast. The biscuits are A+, which we do not say lightly.
Rocky Mountain National Park: It's not incredibly close, but definitely worth going if you're here! You can drive most of the park, but it's worth getting out to hike around as well. Stop in Estes Park for salt water taffy and a burger.
Celestial Seasonings Tour: Can you survive the mint room??? (Great for those bringing kiddos to the weekend!)
