This year has been difficult for all of us. While we'd love to have a large celebration with those we love, we'd also like you all to stay safe and healthy. Below are a couple of changes we are implementing during the wedding and reception that we hope will help keep everyone safe.
As we are hosting a wedding during a pandemic, we have expectations of our guests to keep themselves and others as safe and healthy as possible. Therefore, we have a couple of stipulations for the day of the wedding:
All guests must be wearing masks during both the ceremony and reception. Exceptions will only be made for dinner service. If you believe you cannot meet this requirement, please see the section on virtual attendance on the main page.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee social distancing during any dancing. Therefore, there will not be a large dedicated dance floor - we will have a small one for the important dances and for any that choose to dance regardless.
Our attendance count has been drastically decreased to comply with CDC regulations. We ask that you take precautionary measures as outlined by the CDC on your way to our celebration in order to continue prioritizing the safety of you, your family, and our other guests. Please see the CDC guidelines below on ways to protect yourself and others located here for more information.
If you feel you cannot meet these expectations, or still feel uncomfortable attending a large gathering, we completely understand. We'd still love to have you attend our wedding virtually - see our information on virtual attendance on the main page.
The Greystone Estates has implemented changes in order to keep our guests safe and comply with CDC guidelines. Some of these changes include:
- Hand sanitizer stations
- All drinks and food from the buffet are served by the catering staff
- No preset place settings
- Silverware is rolled
- Extra cleanings before and after the wedding
- All venue and catering staff (and guests!) will be wearing masks
