I highly recommend that folks stay at Hermit Park Open Space after the wedding and reception. There are campsites and cabins located within the park. There are 15 semi-secluded cabins that can be reserved on a first come first serve basis, or through reservations on the Larimer County website. The cabins are comfortable and cozy providing the whole Rocky Mountain Experience. The cabins are equipped with propane lighting and heating (but no running water), table with benches, a port-a-potty per cabin, a 2-burner cook stove, and 4 padded bed surfaces. If you would like to stay in the cabins please remember that these are rustic cabins and you may need to provide your own essentials.
If you are flying into DIA (Denver International Airport) and all ready have a ride from Fort Collins to Estes Park. Green Ride may be a good option to arrive at your destination.
If you would like a rental vehicle. Enterprise is located outside of the airport and all around Fort Collins and Loveland.
The Stanley Hotel will terrify you with the exceptional staff, beautiful views, delicious in house restaurant, and vast historical past. Please visit the website to address any further questions. FYI: this hotel is rumored to be haunted.
The Best Western is easy to find, close to the scenic downtown Estes area, a grocery store, and the bus transit system into Rocky Mountain National Park. This is a clean hotel with friendly staff and a swimming pool. We were unable to block out rooms; however, many are still available.
This is a resort located in Estes Park between the venue (Hermit Park Open Space) and Rocky Mountain National Park. It is a pleasant resort hotel with excellent service. The price is comparable to the Stanley Hotel. We have a block of 10 rooms blocked out under Weber.
