Eric and I first met in June of 2019, like any modern-day fairytale, our story began on Tinder. My first impression of him was Wow, look at those eyes! ...and that smile, please, please, please be a good one. The conversation flowed for a few weeks, so we decided we were ready to meet in person. Fast forward to our first date where we met at a small Indian restaurant for some delicious food, we shared our passions, interests, goals, and some laughter. The date was going so well we decided to extend it at a neighboring restaurant for some drinks. At the end of the date, I felt happy and knew this was just the beginning of a new, beautiful chapter.


One of the first memories I have where I thought to myself, I could picture marrying Eric, was when he naturally started treating my daughter Haleigh as his own. From taking her fishing to nerf gun fights to sharing his love of football and videogames.. These two grew an unbreakable bond. To have a man show up not only for you but for your child as well, day in and day out without question changed my life for the better. Of course, Eric points to a different memory as a particular highlight of our relationship. He recalls me working overnight hospital shifts while being a single Mom, so to really put me to the test he wanted to see me be able to withstand his constant sarcasm. That’s when he knew I was definitely wifey material.


The proposal happened November 21st, 2022, by a beautiful waterfall right off of Seneca Lake. When he proposed to me, I was flooded with tears of joy. The idea of spending forever with Eric fills me with so much excitement and I cant wait to see what this next chapter has in store for us.
