There are several Airbnbs and Bed and breakfasts, located in rural Scottsville and Fluvanna. We recommend you book a place to stay as soon as possible. If you plan to stay in Charlottesville, VA then just know there will be a UVA football game occurring on the day of the wedding. We are anticipating that lodging will be hard to come by and travel will be delayed. We plan on having a block of hotel rooms available at the Best Western Plus at Zion Crossroads (21 miles away from the venue). We will not be providing rides from the hotel to the venue so please plan accordingly.

Put on your best vibrant, colorful, festive cocktail wear. No white (or I'll have my people spill wine on you). This wedding is both under a tent and outdoor venue. We intend on providing a shuttle service from the parking lot to the top of the hill for the ceremony. However, if you plan to walk, please wear appropriate footwear to walk up the gravel driveway. It’s Virginia at the end of October please dress for weather.

Hardware Hills Winery is nestled in the heart of Scottsville, VA. The Google maps directions bring you straight to the venue. Parking will start in the grassy section in front of the venue entrance. There you can walk to the secondary/overflow parking lot near the tasting room. A shuttle vehicle will transport people from the secondary parking lot to the top of the hill for the ceremony.

It’s Michael’s and I’s pleasure to invite you to our ceremony and reception to party the night away. Please arrive no later than 4:00 for our 4:30 ceremony. If you decide to take advantage of the winery experience feel free to arrive earlier. Reception will follow after cocktail hour.

Heck yes! We will have a tip jar for a signature cocktail drink, beer, as well as wine from Hardware Hills Vineyard. Please party accordingly and have a way to get home safely. Ubers and lyfts are unlikely in the area related to the rural location. There's a hotel at zion crossroads and airbnbs that are local.
