Our Wedding Day Recommendations

Since it will be a long day for everyone, we STRONGLY recommend not attending the parks on Sunday outside of wedding events. Instead, we recommend post-ceremony, going back to your hotel and changing into something more comfortable and either heading out to Disney Springs for shopping and a light lunch, followed by a nap, or head out for a leisure day by the hotel pool (weather dependent) followed by lunch and a nap. Whatever you decide, a nap is highly recommended prior to the evening reception.

12 Months Out

Book your Disney Vacation!Disney can book relatively quickly for popular resorts. Booking 12 months out can reduce the risk of not getting the resort you want to stay at or the room type you want. We have blocked out some rooms at 3 different hotels (see hotels tab). You are not limited to these 3 locations, however, Disney has offered a discounted rate through the room block and wedding transportation will be running from the selected resorts. Discounted tickets can also be booked at this time.

4 - 6 Months Out

Buy your tickets via the discounted rate! Research!Start researching any dining, enchanting extras, or VIP Tours you would like to book.Be on the look out for After Hours event tickets to go on sale around this time too! During December Disney runs 2 different parties: Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom and Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios.Look at booking flights.

60 Days Out

Book all dining, Enchanting Extras, and VIP Tours. Booking windows open on the first day of your trip at 5am CST (6 am EST) on the 60 day out mark. Those staying with Disney can book for every day of their trip, those staying off property must book each day individually.

30 Days Out

Final payment for all reservations are due.

We recommend booking as soon as possible, as these are popular resorts that fill up fast. Park Pass Reservations

As of January 9th, guests with DATE BASED tickets (so anyone that does not have an annual pass) are NOT required to hold a park pass reservation. This means, you may enter whichever park you want on any given day.

All Day Park Hopping Returns

As of January 9th, guests that opt to add on the "Park Hopper" feature on to their tickets can now jump from one park to another at any point in the day. Waiting until 2pm is no longer required.

Virtual Queue Updates

As of January 9th, guests can only hold ONE virtual queue spot at a time. Current time slots for entering the virtual queues is 7am and 1pm. This means if your spot in the queue for one ride has not yet been called as of 1pm, you may NOT enter another virtual queue. Current rides using the Virtual Queue System:-Tron: Lightcycle Run in Magic Kingdom-Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at Epcot-Tiana's Bayou Adventure is expected to open late 2024 and utilize the virtual queue system as well.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure Opens!

As of June 28th 2024, Tiana's Bayou Adventure (the replacement for Splash Mountain) is now open in the Magic Kingdom!It is available via virtual queue or MultiPass selection. Stand by lines are NOT available for this attraction.

MultiPass is here, Genie+ is retired.

Disney has retired their Genie+ system and introduced a half FastPass, half Genie+ pay for ride system called MultiPass (and SinglePass).Multipass is available for purchase to Disney Hotel guests can book up to 7 days in advance.
