Kirby and Josh have been set up to volunteer together at VBS. Kirby clearly schemes to have this photo taken so she can text her best friend at the time a photo of the boy she met!! (and has been talking about since they met last week)

Kirby and Josh have their first "official" date. Josh asked Kirby if she wanted to do something after volunteering ended that day. Kirby asked if he wanted to get "handshun milkspakes"...I think she was a little nervous... He said yes! They went! They chatted for hours! and then Kirby shook his hand goodbye!

The two enjoyed spending as much time together as possible before Josh returned to Texas at the end of July. The waiter came and asked if they were "together or separate?" Josh said "together?" (such a gentleman) and Kirby said "We are actually trying to figure that out." The waiter replied, "You should know if you're siblings" To which K + J said they know that they are not...then he said "Do yall like each other?" They both with big eyes said...yes! The waiter then made things simple..."Okay great, I hearby pronounce you boyfriend and girlfriend! I'll get one check." And there you have it! Kirby and Josh are dating! (Selfie immediately after)

First family beach trip (Jekyll Island). Josh and Kirby bonded over their love for the cold and disdain for the beach! They both said they would never live at the beach! (They did not know what was coming...)

Learned of their shared love for sunsets and walks!

Learned of Kirby's love for dancing in the rain and Josh's love for Kirby!

Kirby and Josh's first trial at walking down the aisle together! (Josh's sister's wedding). Let's hope they look less awkward this time!

Kirby and Josh at Jekyll island 3 years post bonding over hating the beach...they may be talking about their 3 year plan to move to the beach 15 minutes away (St. Simons Island) (their home away from home) But they also may be talking about how cold it was.

Skipping through lots of other fun: trips, family dinners, UGA games, lots of ssi visits, college graduations, Kirby's big girl job and move to St. Simons Island (15 minutes from Jekyll island) Josh proposes to Kirby on Jekyll island! The island where both agreed they did not like the beach and would never move to the beach. Josh will be moving down after the wedding to join Kirby full time at the beach, their happy place. It did rain this night and we got to again see Kirby's love for dancing in the rain and Josh's love for Kirby!
