Duncan has had a thing for Kirin since 2016, he waited patiently for Kirin to move back home from college during the pandemic to reach out, “I’ve always thought you were pretty” and ever since, we have been attached at the hip. We met for the first time since high school on May 4th, 2020, in the dark spuds parking lot. Duncan was so nervous he repeated his first sentence twice, Kirin knew she liked him from that start. That first month we were together, we spent every other night together at each others parents houses and would stay up until 2-4am every night talking and giggling. On May 29th, we became boyfriend and girlfriend. In July, we moved Duncan into an apartment with Emmett and Tristan. That first day we moved Duncans stuff into the apartment, Duncan went to work, and Kirin spent the whole day setting up Ikea furniture and unpacking the place for him to come home to. In September, we got a great opportunity to move into a little house, that we started making our home. In 2021-22, we started to think more about our future, we got our first cat, Nala, she is the sweetest little black cat we love so much. We went on our first family vacation of many in 2021. The following years, we went on a few more family trips and our families started to integrate a lot more. In 2023, we got our second cat, Marty! The most dog cat weve ever had, our pride and joy, fetching boy. Shortly after we got Marty, we went to Mexico, where we got engaged! We were on vacation with so many amazing people, and Duncan surprised Kirin by getting her mom to fly out to be there in surprise after the engagement. It was the most magical, special, picturesque day. When we got back to reality, we enjoyed euphoric engagement, and had a lovely engagement party. 2024 brought more travels, family to meet, weddings we went to, live music, visiting old memories, and a very special anniversary. We are so excited to start this next chapter in our lives and we are excited to be done planning and have a fun ass time dancing with all our family and friends at the wedding and then run off on our honeymoon! Madeline was Kirin's college roommate and codependent soul friend through college, they now have a thriving long distance friendship. As both being only children, Madeline and Kirin found an unconditional sister in each other.

Taylor and Kirin met freshman year of high school and were immediately connected and inseparable. Through thick and thin, Taylor and Kirin continue to pass milestones together by each others side.

Emmett has been like a brother to Duncan from the young backyard brawls they would call soccer games to moving into their first apartment together. While Duncan is an only child, Emmett doesn't let him feel like one.

Jackson and Duncan met on the soccer field and quickly became friends for life. Though Jackson moved out of state, they still make a point of seeing each other every year and celebrating milestones.

Jim is Kirin’s bonus dad, he was a key figure in her early life and remains a constant source of adventure, laughter, and heartfelt support. We are honored to have him officiate today.
