Mom took me to New York for my birthday and we had a blast taking in all the sights and magic of the city. On day three, we took pictures in Grand Central Station and then, as I thought we were sightseeing and taking more pictures through the libraries, we turned a corner at historic Morgan Library and KIRK WAS THERE on bended knee. He surprised me with a fairytale proposal in the most beautiful setting and I was thrilled to say "YES" to this wonderful man. Mom, Kirk's mom (Dianna), Kirk, and I enjoyed another day & a half taking in the City and celebrating our new engagement.

Kirk's long-time friend Devon has taken our pictures several times, but this was our official engagement shoot and we were so happy to have a special supporter on the other side of that camera. Taken in Cherokee Park and the grounds of Southern Seminary, we enjoyed a literal walk down memory lane of our time in Louisville. We can't wait for all that's ahead, and we sure are thankful for all that's been.
