Our Wedding

We saw each other in the Lord’s presence. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28 NIV)

We love because He first loved us

Follow the Lord, Everything Follows. I never imagined that saying “YES” to God’s leading would change my life in the most beautiful way! From Mindanao, I took a leap of faith and followed where God was leading me—to Luzon for an exam. It was a journey of uncertainty, but I held onto the assurance that God’s plans are always good. By His grace, my time in Manila wasn’t just about the exam, it was about finding Him in deeper ways. God brought me to a Bible-believing church, where I grew in His Word, built beautiful relationships through Dgroup and ministry, and discovered a deeper love for worship.&nbsp; I have always loved Christian music, and in 2019, while listening to Caleb and Kelsey, I whispered a prayer: “Lord, please bring me someone who loves You and loves music as much as I do.” Little did I know, He was already preparing her. In 2022, I met Andy through music ministry, and by 2023, I knew she was the one and we started courtship. She said “YES” in 2024, and by 2025, we are married! --- Friends, trust in the Lord and His timing. He writes the most beautiful stories—better than anything we could ever dream of. God’s timing is always worth the wait. When you follow Him, everything follows—including love beyond what you could ever imagine!

THE GROOM

There is Blessing in Surrender. No Boyfriend Since Birth.I was single for many years...waiting and surrendering.Now at 29, I’m marrying the man I prayed for. Some may see that as sad but I see it as GRACE. I asked the Lord to guard my heart and He did! I surrendered it fully to Him, TRUSTING that whether He answered my prayer or not, HIS WILL WOULD BE BEST! In my waiting, The Lord filled my life with PURPOSE...serving Him, my family, and my calling. He became MY FIRST LOVE and that was more than enough. But in His perfect time, He brought Kirk. We met in 2022 through music ministry. Our hearts found harmony in worship. By 2023, we began our journey. In 2024, he proposed. And now, in 2025… we’re married!&nbsp; God truly writes the sweetest love stories, the one that leads you first to Him, then to each other. -- So if you're still waiting, keep worshiping. Keep trusting. He is worth the surrender. And so is the love He’s preparing.&nbsp;

THE BRIDE

This journey has been nothing short of God’s goodness and faithfulness. He orchestrated every detail so perfectly. We praise Him for this new chapter! "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart, yet&nbsp;no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end." (Ecclesiastes 3:11) Every season has its purpose, and even when the waiting feels hard, God’s timing is always perfect!

THE COUPLE

Our Story

July 15, 2022 - was a memorable evening as Kirk and Andy, both first-timers, walked into CCF Manila's Singles Ministry event, 'B1G Manila.' That Friday night marked the start of a warm and beautiful journey, bringing their paths together in faith and friendship.

The First Meeting

February 18, 2023 - Kirk and Andy joyfully served together in the Exalt Ministry of CCF Manila. Through their shared moments of worship and service, they not only honored the Lord and His church but also nurtured their friendship, growing closer as they walked in faith side by side.

The Music Ministry

February 24, 2023 - Marked a special milestone for Kirk and Andy as they led worship together for the first time! On the same day, they were entrusted with a beautiful responsibility—being appointed as the Male and Female Core Leaders of the B1G Manila Music Ministry, united in both faith and purpose.

The First Worship Leading

April 15 2023 - Kirk and Andy, both participants of the "True Life" Retreat at CCF Manila on the same day, wholeheartedly renewed their commitment to follow the Lord, embracing His boundless love and purpose with joy and gratitude. To treasure the moment, Kirk warmly asked Andy to take a photo together, capturing a beautiful memory of faith and friendship.

THE RECOMMITMENT

May 5, 2023 - Kirk surprised Andy by visiting her company’s expo at the SMX Convention Center. The unexpected reunion brought a moment of joy, as they shared laughter over bowls of ramen and cups of coffee. It was a simple yet meaningful experience, one that allowed them to grow closer and appreciate each other’s company in a warm, genuine way.

The First Date

May 15, 2023 - Under the enchanting lights of the Venice Grand Canal Mall, Kirk surprised Andy with a heartfelt birthday celebration. That same night, he shared his sweetest intention—asking her to be his girlfriend.

The Intention

June 1 2023 - Andy sweetly said yes to Kirk’s heartfelt intention to begin their official journey as a couple. Adding a playful touch, she created an exam for Kirk, where every answer led to her beautiful 'yes', at Robinsons Manila Food court.

The First Yes

July 22, 2023 - Kirk's family traveled from Mindanao to Manila to meet Andy. They shared a warm and joyful lunch together at SM North Edsa, creating special memories of connection and togetherness.

THE FAMILY MEET UP 

September 23, 2023 - Kirk and Andy completed the GLC Training and Leadership course at CCF Manila, a heartfelt milestone in their walk with Christ as servant leaders.

THE GRADUATION

September 28, 2023 - Kirk and Andy shared a truly special day as they celebrated her mother and brother’s birthdays together for the very first time at Cabalen. The gathering was filled with laughter, heartfelt conversations, and the warmth of family and friendship. It was a memorable occasion that brought everyone closer, creating moments of joy and gratitude that will be cherished for years to come.

THE FIRST FAM CELEBRATION

October 24, 2023 -&nbsp;Andy was feeling so stressed with work, but Kirk was there to offer comfort. He took her to her favorite restaurant, and though the evening was simple, it brought her so much peace. It was just what she needed—quality time together, filled with love, that helped her relax and feel supported through a difficult day.

THE COMFORT FOOD

November 23 2023 - with love in his heart, Kirk invited Andy to his hometown in Ozamis, Mindanao, to meet his parents and experience the warmth of the place where his childhood memories were made. It was a beautiful step in sharing his world with her.

The First Travel

December 28, 2023&nbsp;– Kirk and Andy shared a special day together, savoring unlimited Samgyupsal, laughing while singing karaoke, and enjoying a peaceful stroll through the twinkling city lights of Manila. It was the perfect way to celebrate both Christmas and New Year as a couple, cherishing each moment!

THE HOLIDATE

October 26, 2024 - after the inspiring Magnify 2024 Music Conference in Pasig, Arcovia City, Kirk poured out his heart and lovingly proposed to Andy, asking her to become his wife. A perfect moment to begin their forever.

The Proposal

Unexpectedly, after the proposal, we saw a sign on the building that read, 'TO GOD BE THE GLORY.' In that tender moment, our hearts overflowed with gratitude, knowing it was the Lord gently affirming His presence in our journey.

Kirk and Andy have been joyfully serving the Lord, their family, the church, and the community, pouring their hearts into every opportunity. Their love for the Lord shines not only within the church but also as they share their gifts as worship leaders and support various events, bringing light and love wherever they go. They love because the Lord first loved them.
