Travel to Iowa

We recommend all travel to/from Des Moines International Airport (DSM). Allegiant Airlines is a budget carrier that offers many nonstop routes from major U.S. cities to DSM. Des Moines, like most of the Midwest, is a sprawling city with many suburbs. For those flying in and wishing to attend both wedding celebrations (ceremony/reception &amp; sealing), we highly recommend renting a car. For those only attending our wedding on Saturday, car rental or Uber are great options.

A special booking link has been created to offer guests a discounted room rate! Pets welcome at an additional nightly rate. Room block rate expires 7/14/2025. Rooms at Element are still available, but price is subject to fluctuation when booked after room block offer.

LDS Temple Sealing

Our marriage will be sealed for time and all eternity in the Nauvoo, Illinois temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 5pm on August 15th. For endowed members wishing to attend our sealing, please RSVP directly with Kirsten at (857) 234-3254. Per the Nauvoo temple, all guests attending the sealing session must be inside the temple by 4:30pm. All wedding guests are invited to travel to historic Nauvoo, enjoy the temple grounds, and join in photos and celebration following our sealing!
