Our Wedding

Our story goes back to middle school. One of my friends pointed out this guy she thought was cute. He was wearing his fishing boots and laughing with his friends before school. I agreed. He sure was cute! Some years passed and it was high school. I met this boy who liked to go shark fishing at night. I joined him and his friends and wouldn't you know it! There was JJ running the show. After fishing with the boys over a few weeks I was crushing hard on JJ. We were young so things didn't work out between us in high school but we reconnected a few years after graduation. Our first date we went to the beach and then got tacos from the taco truck. Then came fishing dates and boy did we have a lot of those! Every date was a new restaurant and a new fish to catch! Next thing I know it's been months of hanging out at every opportunity. JJ left for a while to go explore the Caribbean as a captain but didn't leave me hanging. We would talk all night every night and FaceTime all through the night. Now here we are, we have a beautiful home and life together. Every day is a new challenge (mostly deciding what's for dinner) but I cant imagine spending my time with anyone else ❤️Back in high school I was fishing just about every night. Whether shark fishing on the beach, snook fishing or making bait. Weekends it was all offshore. One night we were shark fishing, my buddy brought this girl he knew that wanted to catch a shark. We hit it off. Fished and hung out with her for a few months then we fell out of contact for a while. We where both trying to find our way. 2 years later I just came back home from my first season in the Bahamas and Turks. We had a beach/taco date and been together ever since. Fished another 2 seasons away. in the southern Bahamas Turks, DR and the virgin islands. I decided to fly out of St Thomas to start our lives together. Best decision I've ever made. the amount of memories and opportunities we've already had is insane and cant wait to see what more comes.
