Our journey began at Louisiana Tech University, where two paths — that had wandered all over the state — finally crossed. After a few college stops, Matthew found his way to Tech, and soon after, to Kirstynn. What started as a genuine friendship built over months of shared laughs, late-night conversations, and campus memories slowly turned into something deeper.

Our first date was at Hideaway Park in Ruston, our favorite place in the world. It only felt right that years later, Matthew brought our story full circle and proposed there in May — turning that park into the beginning of forever.

Together, we enjoy spending time with our family, friends, and mostly, our puppy Rusty. We truly believe the Lord led us to meet in college and continues to guide our steps every day.

Matthew says Kirstynn is the best thing that has ever happened to him — the person who changed his life in the best way. Kirstynn says she loves Matthew deeply, feels safe and seen with him, and is thankful for his warmth and patience. Our prayer is that our marriage and our wedding day would reflect Christ’s love — a love that is selfless, enduring, and full of grace.
