July 10, 2022: Emma and Kissak go on a blind date (and Kissak falls in love). The two start getting to know each other over more dates to follow. December 23, 2022: Emma surprises Kissak at his 24th birthday party in Madison (could she have some feelings for him?). Later, Kissak surprises Emma with a Christmas gift - this sketch of Boston, where Emma spent her early childhood.

February 4, 2023: Kissak confesses his feelings for Emma. February 19, 2023: Kissak officially asks Emma to be his girlfriend!

Kissak and Emma continue getting to know each other through hundreds of long-distance phone calls and dozens of weekend dates in Madison and Milwaukee. Some of their favorite times together are spent visiting coffee shops, reading the Bible, having deep conversations, taking romantic walks, making art, shopping, spending time with friends and family, getting brunch, sitting in the park, and much much more!

April 27, 2024: Emma moves to Madison. August 31, 2024: Finally, after a year and a half, the couple gets engaged!

And beyond: The couple enjoys the many more adventures to come!
