Welcome to the Wedding of Klaire Cross &amp; Isaiah Nakoa-Oness. We are pleased to share as much information, details and a piece of our love story with you. We hope you are able to join us on June 27th, 2025 to share and support us both.

Our Wedding

Isaiah and Klaire both met at Graceland University in Lamoni Iowa. Klaire was going into her junior year at Graceland as a communication major. Isaiah was coming in as a freshman getting right into The GU School of Business &amp; also majoring in Sports management. Klaire had played her freshman and sophomore year on the women's volleyball team and started coaching her junior and senior year. As Isaiah was Playing Men's Volleyball and Men's Basketball for GU. Throughout the first semester of 2018 Klaire and Isaiah became close friends and would hang out in friend group settings. Only until Klaire and Isaiah would hang out in the library doing homework together, to find out how much they liked each other. Since they were both in a very close-knit friend group, they didn't tell anyone they hung out privately together. As Klaire and Isaiah secretly started dating, they didn't let any of their close friends know until around March 2019 when their friends could tell the difference in the chemistry. That Summer Klaire lived on Oahu and visited Isaiah on both Oahu and Big Island. As they went back to GU for 2019-2020 school year, they moved in together with two other best friends of theirs. After covid hit and took away Klaire's senior year 2020 graduation. Klaire Stuck around Lamoni working for the university and kept coaching volleyball to wait for Isaiah to graduate. They continued to live together with a new set of best friend roommates. Then Spring of 2021 Isaiah and Klaire bought their first investment property in Lamoni Iowa to live in until Isaiah graduated. The two of them moved into their cute home with one of their closest friends and continue to rent it out to Graceland Students. That concludes Isaiah and Klaire's Graceland Story.

How We Met 

Klaire was born and grew up in Council Bluffs Iowa. She was raised by her mother Kate and two older brothers Kohl &amp; Kurtis. As she grew up she spent lots of time at her grandparents Oliver &amp; Esthers home. Klaire attended Lewis Central all 12 years of school. Klaire frequently visited family in other states and traveled with her grandmother Esther and also by herself many of the times! Klaire first started traveling by herself at the age of 12! She also attended all the church camps she could and knew by the time she got into high school she wanted to go to Graceland University. Klaire was always very athletic as she participated in all the sports and clubs she could. Volleyball, basketball, track, cross-country, tennis, golf, science club, dance, gymnastics and horseback riding. Klaire started dancing at the age of 3 years old and still loves the sport to this day. Klaire ended up playing volleyball in college but still enjoys all the other sports and glad she got to do them all. Klaire also knew from a young age she wanted to either become a large animal vet or be a real estate agent. Well chemistry was not an easy road for Klaire. (lol) So she continued to pursue her real estate career! Isaiah was born in Hilo, Hawaii and grew up on both Oahu and Big Island of Hawaii. Isaiah was raised by his father Scott and his mother Shonna. Isaiah loved playing with his big brother Shan. Isaiah and his family lived in Waimea, Hawaii till he was 5 years old then later moved to Hilo. Later on, Isaiah's little sister was born and gave Isaiah another sibling to play with. As Isaiah grew up, he spent most of his time with Shan and Grandpa Joe. Isaiah attended Kamehameha Private school from 6th grade through his senior year. Isaiah loved sports growing up, he loved playing them and watching them. Isaiah played volleyball and basketball for school and really fell in love with the game of basketball. Isaiah is a true lifetime NBA Lakers Fan, mainly because Lebron James is his favorite. As the love for the game grew so did Isaiah's' shoe collection. Isaiah went on to play Volleyball and basketball at Graceland University. The shoe collection to this day is still growing!

Before our Path's Crossed

Isaiah and Klaire are currently living in Hilo, Hawaii. They both travel to visit friends in other states often as well as visit family in other states as well. They have two of the best dogs in the world. Django, a Siberian Huskey that is 14 years old! As well as Kalea, a Doberman Pinscher that is 3 years old. Klaire is pursuing her lifelong goal of being a Real Estate Agent and getting her licensing and degree in Interior Design. Klaire is an agent at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hawaii Island Properties. Klaire is licensed in Hawaii, Nebraska and Iowa. Klaire has some investment properties under her belt along with a very successful Airbnb she runs with her mom Kate. Klaire's hobbies are all over the board from a frequent beach goer to painter, crafter and working out, she loves spending time with the dogs and isaiah at the park most. Isaiah is doing big things in the business world. Isaiah is the store manager at Zales The Diamond store. Isaiah has been getting into construction and home renovations as he has investment properties of his own. Isaiah also is into the investment properties with Klaire and they are working to keep growing their Real Estate profile together. Isaiah's hobbies consist of playing basketball and detailing high end vehicles.
