Honestly where can we start?! We have known each other for very very long time. Our parents had us in a youth choir together called “Youth of Christ” years ago & that’s as far as we can remember where we first met. We both grew up in the same hometown South Boston, Va, went to the same public schools, and even work at the same jobs. Our first job ever together was Mcdonalds & at first we was just friends that knew each other for a while. After about two months working together the bride shot her shoot & succeed the basket cause shortly afterwards we had our very first date at Mi Cats. From that day on we have literally been inseparable.

From the moment i met J’Quan, his supportive nature & determination drew me in. He has this incredible nature to always push me to chase after my dreams & to never give up. His determination to not only encourage others but himself to tackle whatever he wants in life and more. J’Quan is also compassionate and very dependable he will go out his way to make sure his loved ones is taken care of & for that i knew that one day i would spend the rest of my life with him.

From the moment I met Kmayia, her natural beauty, ambition, and consistency is what made me fall for her. She has taught me the true definition of loyalty, and has always stuck by my side even though my lowest points. She also brings me peace and comfort. She keeps me going. My motivation.

Some of the best memories we have is purchasing our very first home together in May of 2023. With all the love & great memories with just us two shortly after that we had our babygirl in July of 2023. The happiness she bring us is so unmatched we love being her parents & cherish every single moment of it.


OUR PROPOSAL

April 18, 2024 the bride was told by the groom that morning to just go with the flow & not to ask any questions. Later that afternoon the bride met up with her sister & nieces at Edmunds Park where her she was walked up to their family in a line greeting her with flowers. At the end was the groom standing with the biggest smile on his face waiting to ask the million dollar question to the woman of his dreams & CLEARLY SHE SAID YES cause here we are.

For this next chapter in our lives we’ve decided to elope and a have very private, intimate ceremony we our immediate family. Although we’re having a private ceremony we still want to celebrate with our friends & families. We will be having a reception afterwards for everyone to mix & mingle, laugh, dance, enjoy the open bar, and creating great memories together. We can not wait to celebrate our love with you on our special day!
