It all started when Allison posted on her instagram that she was in Phoenix, Arizona on a trip to check out Grand Canyon University!

Kobey went to Grand Canyon University with his brother, Ben. They both studied Exercise Science and were in many of the same classes.

Allison ALSO went to Grand Canyon University.

Allison (very competitive) decided to make a sand volleyball team. She knew Kobey was tall and athletic, so why not ask?

Although this was a completely platonic ask (in Allisons eyes), Kobey declined because he may or may not have been in a relationship at the time (ew)

In 2018, Allison added Kobey on snapchat after she watched him play basketball against Lincoln Christian (She might have thought he was cute). Kobey did not accept this request until a whopping YEAR later!

Even though Allison got rejected in sand volleyball, she still decided to reach out and tell Kobey about his brother (Ben) yelling at her across campus because of a Nebraska hoodie she was wearing.

Allison had been deciding whether or not to transfer back to Nebraska after missing her family & the snowy weather… When covid hit, she decided to become a cornhusker! She lived with her co-maid-of-honor, Gracey and three other girls in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Kobey came back to Nebraska due to covid. As he was back he did a lot of basketball training with his brother, Jaxon. Jaxon eventually convinced him to play college basketball, and Kobey signed a scholarship to play with Hastings College.

Now THIS is where their REAL story starts! They don’t have the receipts, but here is how Kobey and Allison’s first snaps went like: Kobey: “Hi, how is GCU going for you” Allison: “Hi! I actually transferred back last year! How is GCU for you?” (Kobey and Allison both knew FULL well that they had both transferred back before having this conversation)

This is Kobey and Allison’s first photo together… the only reason they have this awkward picture is because Kobey’s roommates needed proof that Kobey actually came over to see her!

One of Kobey and Allisons first ideas was for Allison to buy random ingredients, and Kobey would have to make a meal out of it! (Like the show “Chopped”). Here is Kobey showing off his chef skills.

On Halloween, Kobey made it official and asked Allison to be his girlfriend!

First Christmas together! (Allison had to force Kobey into those Olaf pajamas)

First New Years together! Also, there’s snow so you KNOW that Allison was happy that day!

After injuring his wrist, Kobey decided to coach Hastings High boys basketball. An odd coincidence, but Allison’s mom graduated from hastings high! Allison wore her mom’s vintage t-shirt to one of Kobeys games.

Allison turned 21 and Kobey got to celebrate it with her.

Kobey got invited to Allisons family trip to Arizona! (The idea of looking into rings may have started on this trip…)

Allison got invited to go on Kobeys family vacation to Disney World! (They may have also stopped at a few Disney jewelry stores to look at rings)

They must really like caramel apples…

Allison started her dental hygiene program at UNMC! This made seeing each other very hard, as they were already middle distance!

Kobey is still searching for his calling, but he is currently the general manager at Untamed Kitchen and is taking classes online to get his bachelor's degree.

Allison found a dress! Can’t wait for you all to see it at the wedding!
