Our story is one for the record books. It starts off with this wonderful dating app called Hinge. I liked one of Stephanie's goofy photos showing her true personality. She messaged me, and we began talking about faith, family, dreams and jobs. I asked if she would be up for lunch one day before I headed to work (working swing shift). We met on a Wednesday (August 1, 2023) at South Store Cafe. It is this cool little restaurant out in farm country Hillsboro. I remember seeing Stephanie walking across the street to the restaurant and thinking "OMGoodness I better get this right". After lunch we walked across the street to this farm store. We sat down at a table outside and started into deeper conversations like "where do you see yourself in 2 and 5 years" and "what do you value most in life". Needless to say it was an incredible first date, and I could not wait to see her again.
