Korayma and Alejandro met Dec. 18th in 2020. They had already been re-connecting for a few weeks over text. It turns out they had many mutual friends and share past experiences. UIC College Prep, the high school Alejandro attended,and Pritzker College Prep, where Kory went, were competitors both in sports and after school activities. They were both also on the drill team for JROTC which meant they both attended the same competitions and summer camps throughout high school. Shortly after becoming boyfriend and girlfriend, Alejandro took Korayma out for dinner. Their first official date was to Tzuco, a take on mexican cuisine. Alejandro being a Marine meant their relationship was that at a long distance. They've endured the struggles that come with being in a long distance relationship as well as a military relationship for over two years. It was on November 13th that Alejandro promised to put an end to the long distance with an engagement ring. It is why they are both ecstatic to invite you along for a celebration of their union in Durango, Mexico come November 11th 2023.
