Reed and Kory first met in middle school. They became friends and started dating their junior year of high school. In the summer of 2020, Reed and Kory spent every day together. They slowly became best friends going fishing, kayaking, gaming, Wednesday night church, going to Chick-fil-A, and the movie theater.

Kory went to the University of Oklahoma while Reed went to Oklahoma Christian University. They did everything possible to see and make time for each other when they could. Reed attended Kory’s sorority date parties and always went to football games with her. They made it a priority to always go to church together. By this time, Reed and Kory were deeply in love with each other.

In their junior year of college, they talked a lot about marriage and what their future would look like together. On the 22nd of December in 2023, Reed asked Kory to marry him. And of course she said yes. In reflecting on their time together, they find their 6 year relationship to be just the start of the life they will share together.
