Our friendship grew to love. We first met in 2012 on a bowling outing and then met again, a year later, at a friend’s bonfire party, where our attraction to each other was evident right away. For the next year, we became the best of friends, often staying up late just talking for hours looking at the stars and watching the sun rise. Dan asked me to be his girlfriend at Lake Katherine on top of the waterfall, ending the night watching fireworks. A truly joyful night that I will always cherish and remember.

Our relationship never weakened, even when I, Korynn, went away to college and worked in Kansas for one year. Dan and I have always supported each other passions and career goals. Our love of nature, travel and adventure have always been our passions. We have traveled to many states, forest preserves, and waterfalls and made it our fun mission to complete an escape room and mini-golf game on every vacation.

Our love and our friendship is what makes us strong. We were friends first which blossomed into our mutual love. Dan proposed to me in September 2022 while on vacation at Moraine Lake in Canada. Again, the most special and perfect setting! (see cover photo) It is our continued trust in each other, our strong bond of friendship and our shared love for each other that will always keep us together. Our future is full of new opportunities and we are excited to see what the journey has in store for us. We remain grateful for the love and support of our family and friends. Thank you all!
