We first crossed paths in elementary school during Boy Scout pinewood derby days—but our story truly began in junior year, 2011, when Kourtney asked Jeff to be her homecoming date. After the dance we kept hanging out and discovered a shared love of movies and games; one early date was a Marvel film, and we bonded over League of Legends, RuneScape, and Overwatch. While Jeff was at Michigan Tech, he asked Kourtney to be his girlfriend over Facebook, and we kept our connection through calls, texts, visits during breaks, and many co-op gaming sessions. Over the years Kourtney joined Jeff’s family trips to the Upper Peninsula—Grandma Kitty’s cabin, the Kramer cabin, and the Hiawatha Music Festival—and Jeff joined Kourtney’s family at the Armada Flea Market. Valentines Day 2019 Kourtney’s grandma Puckett gave Jeff a nudge when she presented him her first diamond ring. Jeff popped the question the following day. We can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with family and friends on May 30, 2026, in Gladwin, MI!
