Kris and Kelsey met in elementary school, but didn't become friends until middle school. Their friendship began to blossom when they were in study hall and played Star Wars D&D together instead of doing their homework. They stuck together that summer, going to Nanotech summer camp together in 2008. It was around there that Kelsey began to develop a crush on Kris while being stuffed in the back of a sedan on the way back and forth to Albany everyday.

A friendship built on their love of Lord of the Rings, D&D, theater and the renaissance fair turned romantic at the end of summer 2012. Kris finally figured things out at the Sterling Renaissance Faire after he shot Kelsey in the face with a LARP crossbow in the parking lot. A couple months later, Kris admitted he had a crush and the rest is history.

Six years of long distance through college, grad school, internships, both of them studying abroad in Ireland, they finally moved in together! Just in time for the world to shut down a few months after! They've been through each others side through everything. Just in time for their 10 year anniversary, Kris proposed to Kelsey next to the sea inBray, Ireland.

Now, they are about to embark on the next chapter of their lives and get married after almost 12 years together.
