Our Wedding

From meeting Krishna in high school and growing that spark between us, little did I know that she would become the most important person in my life. She was and still is always full of so much laughter and light that I couldn’t help but be magnetized to her. From being the best friend that always listened to me during any time of need, to being the very best friend and best partner that anyone could ever ask for. All our countless food and movie dates led me to understand what kind of person she is. Someone who is always willing to adventure and look for new things to try – someone who is always willing to be by my side. It was these types of memories and episodes of joy that made me understand that she was the woman that I wanted to be with for the rest of my life. She has continued to make me smile daily for the past 9 years weve been together and have made my stomach hurt at times from all the laughter she’s caused either from her random dance moves or her rather hilarious face expressions that nobody would understand unless she’s shown you. Most importantly, she’s helped me grow into a person that she could be proud of and to claim as her husband. Here’s to forever, and more importantly, here’s to forever being with you. I love you, Bubba!

Our love story began over a decade ago in high school. It all started in English class on the very first day of freshman year when I first saw Jashen. I couldnt help but notice his bold choice of attire — a bright yellow plaid button-down paired with matching sneakers. I thought it was strangely adorable. As the years went by, we grew closer, evolving from good friends to the best of friends. Our relationship was always playful and endlessly teasing. Little did we know, our friendship would blossom into something deeper right before our eyes, catching us both by surprise. I remember worrying about what my family might think due to our different backgrounds, but everything worked out in our favor at the end. Not everyone can say their first love was also their first boyfriend, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to say just that. Here’s to a lifetime of food adventures, exploring new places around the globe, and most importantly, loving each other, Bubba.
