In 2010, Eddie interviewed for his first assistant job in media. He didn't get that job, but they liked him and brought him back to interview for another department. While he waited in the lobby for his second interview, he overheard the introduction of the new assistant they just hired, Krissie. He may or may not have cursed her under his breath for stealing his job.

He was hired and started shortly after, and the two became friends quickly. Although they were friends for a year before starting to date, Krissie had a secret little crush on Eddie from the start. Eddie had a not-so-secret crush too :)

After four years of dating, life took them down different paths. Eddie focused on his career, while Krissie explored the world. They kept in touch through the years, and in early 2020 they found their paths back to each other. Since then, Krissie moved back to California, where the couple now live in Long Beach. They're excited for this new path they are on together.
