A state-of-the-art history center located at the heart of the historic Greenwood District honoring the legacy of Black Wall Street before and after the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921, Greenwood Rising allows visitors to explore and connect with Greenwood District history through an immersive journey using projection mapping, holographic effects and environmental media.

Offering behind-the scenes stories, memorabilia and more, the Outsiders House Museum just northeast of downtown Tulsa is a time traveling experience that’s worth a trip even if you’ve never seen the movie. Owned and restored by music legend Danny Boy O'Conner, the Outsiders House Museum is a space for fans and former actors and crew alike to pay homage to the iconic coming-of-age movie. Center for Public Secrets is a collection of artifacts, journalism and research to educate people on Tulsa's misunderstood history. Their programming is facilitated by the community through educational programs, workshops, events and exhibits. The goal is to shine light on our history and bring people together through education. They believe that with a better understanding of our past, we can improve our future. People of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to participate!

Home to the first monument on National Geographic’s list of “Six essential American monuments,” the John Hope Franklin Reconciliation Park was built in commemoration of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, one of the worst civic disturbances in American history. Hope Plaza, a 16-foot granite structure with three bronze sculptures, depicts actual pictures from the 1921 massacre. The Tower of Reconciliation at the center of the park is a 25-foot memorial tower that displays the early struggles of the Oklahoma Territory and the lively history of Black Wall Street in Greenwood.

Located in the center of the historic Greenwood district, Black Wall Street Tees & Souvenirs is much more than a place to pick up memorabilia. This shop carries products designed to spark insightful conversations about Greenwood’s complicated history and heritage, housed in a shop with its own unique backstory.

Next door to ONEOK Field, Silhouette Sneakers & Art is a highly curated retail experience that brings limited and authentic sneakers and streetwear to Tulsa.
