We met through Bumble. We started talking on April 17, 2022. Our first date was a week later. We met at Milkit, an ice cream and boba shop. They had rolled ice cream, which neither of us had tried. We ended up talking for hours and had a great time. We were so nervous that we worried about how we came across each other. We had a lot in common and decided to go for a second date.

Over the next few dates, we found that we loved being competitive. We went to the arcade, to Topgolf, and any other places we could find to compete against each other. We went to so many fun places and had a blast everywhere we went!

We made it official on June 5, 2022. We clicked on so many levels and had fun every time we hung out. We went on some great adventures and spent every weekend together. We continued to build our relationship and decided to move in together in February of this year. Living together challenged us in many ways but ultimately brought us closer together.

For our first anniversary, we decided to go on a cruise. I had never been on a cruise and one of Colten's favorite vacations he had growing up was on a cruise. We went to some beautiful places and had some amazing experiences. The night before our last port, we had come back from dinner and were taking pictures. I was ready to change into some comfy clothes but Colten told me he needed to grab the Nintendo Switch case we had in the suitcase to take more pictures. I was obviously confused as to why we needed that for pictures and he pulled the ring out of the case and it was the best surprise! We are so excited to get married and for this next step in our relationship.
