Our Wedding

Our story began like all the worlds greatest love stories begin... A down on his luck Irish heart throb with a talent for drawing gambled away his life savings for a chance to move to NYC... only to meet the love of his life attempting to jump ship... Just kidding....We met online. After years of power swiping, one fateful day in November 2018 the bumble gods smiled upon us and we met up for the last first date of our lives. We met at AOC wine bar on the UES. Joe showed up early and befriended the bartender while practicing his French to impress his date. Krista rolled in casually 15 min late with 12/10 energy ready for a night out in the city (very on brand for all parties). After chatting our way through a bottle of red and a bottle of white (Billy Joel would be proud) we landed across the street at the Irish pub and shared a romantic tray of chicken fingers and french fries...and the rest as they say is history! Over the years weve shared many adventures together enjoy a smattering pictured below.

Our Love Story

Finally on June 29th 2023, Joe surprised Krista with "the best 4th of July weekend celebration of all time" Jet skiing around the statue of liberty....and then a ring!

He asked " What do you wanna do tonight Krista?" She answered "The same thing we do every night Joe" And this time he said..."Will you marry me?" Luckily she agreed to spend the rest of their nights together plotting world domination THE END.

We will have a shuttle that runs a continuous loop to both the Allegria and the Long Beach Hotel for pickup and drop off on the wedding day both before and after the wedding. We are SO excited to share our beloved Long Beach with all of our friends! While you're here, check out some of our favorite local spots to get a taste of what Long Beach Life is like! If we get lucky and the sun is out you can check out the beach or the Long Beach Boardwalk. Beach access is free and you can rent chairs from the Allegria hotel. There are tons of restaurants and bars within about a mile walk from the hotels in the West End or on Park Ave. We have listed a few of our favorites below along with this list of reccomended eateries :) West End Restaurants: ***Swingbellies- Fun BBQ spot during the day and hopping bar scene at night ***Lost &amp; Found- Romantic new american with excellent food and seasonal menu ***Grotto di Fuoco- Classic Italian with homemade pasta ***The Merrow- Cocktail bar Park Ave: ***Shore House Bar &amp; Grill- local grill house with live music and upscale bar food ***Baldoria - delicious homestyle italian ***Bright Eye Beer Co- Great local craft brewery. BYO Food they only serve beer but will let you bring your own food (Ginos Pizza is right near by)

Come join us on Saturday afternoon at Minnesotas! We will be posted up from 1pm to 4pm! Located in the west end of Long Beach, about a 20min walk from the hotel along the Boardwalk or a 5min uber.

The long beach boardwalk spans about a 3 mile strip with gorgeous views and a great place to take a walk or bike ride.
