Call it fate, Krista and Taryn met on an online dating platform known as "Bumble". Taryn was in Flagstaff, AZ golfing with a couple buddies when he "swiped right" on Krista on August 12th of 2018.

They continued to talk for the next week, when Krista asked Taryn to drive down to Flag so they could have their first formal date. Of course Taryn couldn't have said no. From there they continued to talk over the phone, swapping turns on who would travel that week to visit the other.

A month or so of them dating, they made it "Official" and became boyfriend and girlfriend. They continued taking turns on driving to and from Page and Flagstaff. 8 months into the relationship, Krista finally moved up north to Page and moved in with Taryn. From there, they lived with his sister for 6 months while their house was being built. When his sister, Tawny, found out she was pregnant they moved in with Taryn's parents. Still waiting for the house to be finished, they lived with his parents for about 7 months.

They continued to grow their relationship day by day. Little weekend adventures here little adventures there. The house finally was finished in August of 2020 and they moved into their own home! Wondering when Taryn would pop the big question. Krista waited and waited, Taryn played it off as if he was not going to be able to get the ring until March of 2021. They made plans to go to California for Christmas of 2020 to be with Krista's family and Taryn thought that would be a good time to ask her to spend forever with him. December 27th 2020, Taryn asked Krista to marry him and she said YES!
