Our Story

Picture of Our Story

Nate and Krissy first met way back in 1995 when Krissy moved from Cottage Grove, MN to Martell, WI. Steve and Sue Boyer built a house two miles up the road from Bob and Brenda Wingers home. Back in those days, Nate and Krissy were in middle school and their only modes of transportation were by foot, biking, or four wheeler. Sue still remembers Nate and his brother Nick pedaling really fast by the house on their way to the Red Barn. Though Nate went to Ellsworth Schools and Krissy attended Spring Valley, there was still plenty of time to hang out during the summers before anyone got their drivers license.

Nate gradutated from high school and attened UWRF. He gradauted with a Bachelors Degree in Geography. Krissy also attended UWRF for her Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree. Though they attend the same college and were on the same campus for years, neither of them ever knew that the other was there.

The years flew by and their adolescent friendship became a distant memory. Then in 2019, Nate saw Krissy from afar at a wedding dance and instantly remembered her. He quickly devised a plan to get her number and later to ask her for a dance.

A couple days later, to her surprise, Krissy recieve a text from Nate asking her to ride four wheeler on trails down by the Rush River... and the rest is history.

Nate and Krissy have had some amazing adventures. With Nates daughter, Ana, and Krissys son Tucker, they survived white water rafting, traveled to the Grand Canyon, shut down two community pools in Las Vegas (ask Tucker), hiked in the Rocky Mountains, and sang out loud during a concert at the historical Red Rock Amphitheater. Between surprise cruises to Bermuda in the Atlantic ocean, paragliding off cliffs over the Pacific ocean, and tracking endangered rhinos in South Africa, Nate and Krissy have made memorable adventures coast to coast and around the world.

We now invite all of our friends and family to share in our next adventure.

With faith, hope and love, the best is yet to come...

Thank you all for being part of our story.
