We love Cleveland and hope you will too!
If you are short on time, we recommend walking around Downtown Cleveland. It's safe and you can see all of the cool architecture and beautiful scenery. You can hit up Public Square, Playhouse Square, The Arcade (1st American indoor mall and very beautiful), Lake Erie, The East Bank of the Flats along the famous Cuyahoga River (don't worry it's not still burning), Progressive Field (home of the Indians/Guardians) and First Energy Stadium (home of the Browns) and plenty more. You might recognize Public Square and Tower City from A Christmas Story! There are a ton of great restaurants and bars as well!
If you have a little more time, we recommend going to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It is walking distance from downtown right on Lake Erie. Allow about 4 hours to see everything in the museum.
If you have even more time, we recommend venturing over to Ohio City and visiting West Side Market, doing a Brewery Tour at Great Lakes (reservations should be made ahead of time) and grabbing some Ice Cream at local favorite Mitchell's. You can even watch them make it from scratch! You can drive and park or you can take the train to Ohio City.
Labor Day Weekend is also the Cleveland Air and Water show, so make sure to look up!
Below are some links and information about some of the places listed above.
