Our Wedding

It was love at first scoop. Many of you know that our story began with the beloved Cold Stone Creamery in early 2014. Groomsman, childhood friend, and coworker, Sean McEnaney, had introduced Nick and Kristen in their junior year of high school. While talking for a few weeks Nick thought it was going great, Kristen had other ideas. Summer 2014 rolls around where Kristen was in Wildwood, NJ and Nick was in OCNJ. Kristen realizes her mistake, makes the first move and initiates the talking phase once again. Nick took his chance quickly asking Kristen out and the rest is history. A non-traditional relationship from the start, Nick and Kristen went to separate colleges. Nick at UMass Amherst and Kristen at SUNY Albany, traveling 2 hours back and forth to see one another for four years, beating the odds of a high school relationship. Here comes graduate school where Nick and Kristen switch states with Kristen now at Boston University and Nick at New York Institute of Technology doubling their distance. To no surprise, they continue making their relationship work traveling back and forth whenever they could. Fast forward two years, Nick gets an engineering job outside of Boston and moves in with Kristen in Spring of 2022 to share their first apartment in South End. After asking Kristens parents blessing, Nick decided to pull the trigger and propose. Almost 6 months and many planned potential proposals later, Nick proposes in December of 2022. As Kristen partakes in her promised last adventure of education with residency in Augusta, Georgia, once again causing their relationship to go the longest distance they’ve been, they get to plan their wedding back in New York in the presence of loved ones, where it all began almost 10 years ago. We are so excited for this next journey and look forward to seeing you on our special day!

Due to a lack of Uber availability in the area of our venue / hotel, we highly suggest renting a car!

Use the link above to book rooms or call (203) 205-2000 and ask for the Forehand / Centone wedding block. Check in is 3pm.Check out is 11am. The hotel will try their best to accommodate early arrivals before 3pm on Friday 11/15 as rooms become available, but it is not a guarantee. There is a bag check if a room is not available. If you need dates outside of 11/14 - 11/16, please call to get the same rate. Please make sure to check the scheduled times of transportation to the wedding venue to coordinate your arrival.

Wedding Transportation

Roundtrip transportation will be provided to and from the wedding ceremony and reception for hotel guests. We encourage all hotel guests who are drinking to please take the provided transportation. Meet in the lobby no later than 3:00 PM to ensure a timely departure. There will only be ONE bus run. Please include in your RSVP if you are planning to use provided transportation. Parking is also available at Le Chateau.   There is a 4:00 PM sharp ceremony start time. Please plan to arrive by 3:45 PM if you are not using provided transportation as we will not wait for any latecomers.
