Kristen and Drew were on their family farm in Lexington, KY for their spring engagement session. The farm was filled with beautiful spring flowers and surrounded by a small green forest. I had on a gorgeous flower crown from Michler's and was wearing a beautiful long white dress. Our sweet puppy Baya also had a flower crown of her own. We went back to a romantic forest behind their home. The setting was perfect with the canopy of trees laced with ivy on the ground. We also had a cute tree swing that was perfect for photos. We then headed out to Talon Winery for sunset where we found a field of purple wildflowers. We ended the night watching the sunset on the dock and walking through the wide open fields.

Kristen and Drew met while Kristen was visiting a friend on spring break at Murray State. That night her friend was going to a fraternity dance with her boyfriend. Kristen said that the only way she would go was if her friend's boyfriend could find her a date. Drew ended up being her date for the dance and they had a wonderful evening together. After her visit, Kristen went back to Morehead for school. That summer after school Drew texted Kristen to see if she wanted to go out for dinner. Their first date was at a Chinese restaurant and afterward, they climbed up on his roof to stargaze. After their first date, they continued to talk every day. A special place to both of them is the Bernheim Forest in Clermont, KY. On a snowy day, Drew took her to their favorite spot under a canopy of trees. It was there that Drew asked Kristen to marry him! We are so excited for their wedding this fall on their gorgeous family farm! Check back later this year to see their wedding day story unfold.
