Life has a way of taking us down the road less traveled. Tim and Kristen crossed the same intersections, traveled the same city streets, and found themselves in the same locations at the same time. Their parents have lived within 15 minutes of each other since 2010 and they both studied at The Ohio State University for the same 5 years, living on the same street, studying in the same libraries, and winding down at the same local watering holes and diners, drive-ins, and dives, but their paths never crossed. They would not meet until they followed their dreams down the road less traveled.

This road intersected in a courtyard in Athens, Ohio on the second day of medical school, where they discovered how similar their paths actually were. Their friendship started over several boxed lunches, completing a 1500-piece puzzle, and the promise of chicken parmesan. Their relationship blossomed during late night walks and star-gazing, Jackie O's post-exam date nights, cheering on the Cleveland Indians during their playoff run, and peaked at Med Prom. By Valentine's Day, they knew they were meant to be. During the past two years, Kristen and Tim have supported each other as they strive to fulfill their dreams of becoming physicians. They have shared a few tears, but many more laughs. He empowers her and she encourages him. They share Dr. Seuss's philosophy: “We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.”

Love is the best medicine! From the crowded city streets of Columbus, Ohio, to the country roads of Athens, Ohio, Kristen's and Tim's paths were uniquely similar, yet distinctively different, only crossing when they followed their dreams down the road less traveled. They're excited to travel new roads together and share their experiences with their loved ones. They cannot wait to share their love with all of you.
