Ceremony

Please arrive at 6:00 PM, as our ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 PM. The ceremony will take place on the Scissortail Deck and will be officiated by David Broughton.

7:00 PM–8:00 PM

Cocktail Hour

Cocktail hour will feature an open bar, live music, games, and passed hors d’oeuvres. Grab a drink, enjoy the music, and relax before dinner!

8:00 PM–11:00 PM

Reception

The reception will take place inside the ballroom and will feature dinner, toasts, dancing, and cake as we celebrate into the evening.

What time should guests arrive?

Please plan to arrive 15–30 minutes before the ceremony begins (~6:00 PM) to allow time for parking and seating.

Where is the wedding taking place?

The ceremony and reception will both be held at Trinity River Audubon Center. The address is 6500 S Great Trinity Forest Way, Dallas, TX 75217.

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be held outdoors on a covered patio (weather permitting), followed by an indoor reception. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors so everyone stays comfortable.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Yes, free parking is available onsite.

What’s the dress code?

Garden party attire is requested, with breathable fabrics and comfortable silhouettes in mind. Pastels, florals, and dresses are perfect for the setting.

Can I bring a guest?

We kindly ask that you only bring the guests listed on your invitation.

Can we bring our children?

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy the evening, we are planning an adults-only celebration.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by April 5th, 2026, so we can finalize our headcount.

What will the weather be like?

May in Dallas usually brings beautiful warm days and pleasant evenings. We expect sunshine and blue skies—perfect for celebrating outdoors!

Will there be an open bar?

Yes!

What kind of food will be served?

Guests will enjoy a seasonal menu beginning with a delicate arugula salad, followed by a plated pairing of brined chicken and slow-braised beef, and ending on a sweet note with lemon cake and blueberry filling. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

Can I give a cash gift instead?

Your presence means the most, but if you wish to give a gift, we’d be grateful for a contribution to our New House fund.

We are not reserving hotel blocks, but wanted to share a few nearby hotel options at different price points for your convenience. All of the hotels listed are located in or near Downtown Dallas and are an easy drive to the Trinity River Audubon Center.

Travel Accommodations

There will be plenty of free parking available at the Trinity River Audubon Center. If you prefer to use a rideshare service, the trip from Downtown Dallas to the venue typically costs around $20–$30.
