Allow us to take you back to the Summer of 2016. Kristen &nbsp;moved from Pratt to Wichita that July, and was just getting settled in to her new city life.

It's August. Kristen gets a text from her cousin, Allison. Allison claims she has the PERFECT guy for Kristen and they just have to meet. Oh by the way, he's a&nbsp;farmer from Pratt. We won't tell you exactly what Kristen thought, but it was something along the lines of, "HECK NO." She just moved from Pratt, and now her cousin wanted her to meet a farmer from Pratt. Not a chance.

At the same time, Allison was also working to convince Dalton to let her set her up with her cousin, Kristen. Dalton wasn't keen on the whole blind date thing either. "Those things never work out" is about what he thought.

For those of you that haven't had the pleasure of meeting Allison yet, you all need to know that she is extremely persistent.

Dalton and Kristen finally gave up and agreed to allow Allison to introduce them to one another towards the end of October. Kristen was so convinced she would not like this "Dalton guy" that she showed up to the meeting after high school dance team practice and getting a massage. She was in a t-shirt, workout pants, hair thrown up in a pony tail, and hardly any makeup was left after the massage. Boy, what a looker she was that night ;)

Allison and her husband, Jed, hosted Dalton and Kristen for supper and cards. The ice didn't take too long to break, and soon everyone was comfortable and having a good time. Kristen is pretty sure she told Dalton goodbye and nice to meet you when she awkwardly left that night . . . Dalton is not convinced she did. Kristen maintains he must not have heard her . . .

Man it's a good thing Dalton had an adventurous (or slightly insane) moment because for whatever reason, he decided to go ahead and send Kristen a message.&nbsp;One message led to another, which led to their first date, which led to a second, and before either of them knew what had happened, Dalton was dating a girl who lived in Wichita and Kristen was realizing she might have to move back to Pratt . . .
