While yes, this story does start at Target, it is not just any ol' Hallmark love story. On November 15th, 2019, Joe showed me the ropes of my new Target store... little did he know I had been working at another Target for several years. To help boost his ego, I played the part of the "new trainee who needed help". His corny dad jokes and quirky personality swept me off my feet that day in isle D16. As our bond grew stronger over the next several months, Joe quickly became my best friend and go-to person. Our relationship became "official" while pushing truck in the beauty section... and the rest is history!

"What can I get you, bitches?" Joe was such a nervous wreck the morning before he proposed, he didn't know how to respond when the waitress at Bacon Bitch came to take our order. After a very fulfilling breakfast, we made our way to the beach to meet up with our friends. While looking for a spot to set up on the crowded beach, I turned around and very much to my surprise saw Joe down on one knee with a beautiful ring in his hands asking me to marry him. I was in such shock that I wasn't sure it was real! Yes, I in fact, asked if it was one of his many jokes. Evidently, as you are reading this, it was no joke. I am over the moon lucky to get to marry my best friend and soulmate.
